Machhapuchhre Ga.Pama children’s dialogue program completed Bhadra 29, Hemja. The 60th National Children’s Day 2081 special children’s dialogue program was completed on Saturday with the slogan “Balbalikama Lagani Suresh: Mavishyako Thalni” organized by Machhapuchhre Municipality Women and Children Branch.
Nepal is celebrating the day of approval of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child 2047 on 29th as National Children’s Day.
Dialogue There was representative participation of students from all the community schools under Machhapuchhre Municipal Corporation in the program. Participating students raised the problems faced by them regarding their basic needs like love, affection, protection, healthy environment, proper nutrition, education, teachers and the physical conditions and hardships of the school they studied, as well as their natural right to get opportunities for development and requested for a solution from the local body.
Addressing the programme, Municipality Vice President Sita Adhikari expressed her commitment to provide necessary facilities to the local government on priority basis to address the complex problems arising in the program. He added that every action taken for children must not be contrary to the basic principles of child development. In the programme, it was mentioned that the municipality had brought such a program in the next day along with giving continuity on the basis of priority, saying that it would be easier to quench the doubts as to whether the activities done by Machhapuchhe Municipality are in favor of child rights or not.
Village head administrative officer Gopikrishna Aryal, education branch assistant Vishnu Prasad officer, economic development committee coordinator and ward no.8 president Ram B. Gurugram had expressed his good wishes. Social Development Committee Convener and Ward No. Ward President of 9 Hari B. Area, Ward No. 4 Chairman Madhusudhan Adhikari, Child Rights Committee member Govind Adhikari and Sumita Bhandari were in special presence.
In the program, M.Vika Parbat Dahal and Machhapuchhre M.Vika Saugata Regmilai were honored for achieving excellent results in SE 2080. Bidmalaya teachers, teachers’ chair beating competition among teachers, M.V.E teacher Milan Majkotile stood first, Bhumeshwar A.V.E teacher Navraj Gautam 2nd, Sarada M.V.E teacher Dipendra Lamsalle got third prize. On the teachers’ side, Janajagaran AV teacher Dilmay Dhakal got the first prize, Annapurna AV teacher Buddhi Kumari Gurung got the second prize and Janakalyan AV teacher Rupa Adhikari got the third prize.
The program was chaired by Asik Pariyar, Chairman of Machhapuchhre Municipality Children’s Network, welcomed by Administrative Officer Gopikranna Area and Head of Operational Women and Children Branch Jyoti Paudelle Garnabhayo.
